SkipForm: Autofill Forms (“SkipForm”) is a browser extension for filling everyday web forms.

Our privacy approach

SkipForm's developer does not collect, receive, or store your profile, documents, form history, conversations, or browsing activity on developer-operated servers. SkipForm has no developer cloud database, user accounts, advertising trackers, or remote usage analytics.

The extension stores and processes your saved information in your browser on your device. Local access is necessary to provide autofill and Assistant features; it does not give the developer access to that information.

Information used locally

Depending on the features you use, local information includes:

  • Saved form answers, such as contact details, addresses, preferences, and reusable form responses.
  • Document files you choose to add and text extracted from them.
  • Form history, website addresses, dates, notes, and recent autofill activity.
  • Page text, form information, and page structure read for a task; supported page screenshots when you select them.
  • Assistant prompts, replies, selected context, settings, and recoverable task records.
  • Website preferences, cached model files, and any credentials or server settings you choose to save.

Automatic learning excludes inputs identified as passwords, government identifiers, payment details, or banking details. Do not assume this filtering removes sensitive information from manually saved fields, documents, page text, or screenshots.

Website access and autofill

SkipForm reads and changes websites you permit so it can identify fields, learn eligible answers, and fill forms. Restrict access in your browser and SkipForm's website settings. Assistant page actions have a separate permission and review flow.

A website can access answers or files placed into its form, including before you press Submit. Information you send to organizations and websites is handled under their policies. SkipForm does not automatically submit forms.

AI processing and downloads

The default Assistant provider runs inference on your device. Its prompts and context are processed locally. Model files are downloaded from Hugging Face and its delivery infrastructure when needed. Those services receive connection information, such as your IP address and the requested model files; model downloads do not upload your profile, documents, or conversation. See the Hugging Face Privacy Policy.

The current extension also offers optional external providers: OpenAI, Groq, DeepSeek, Anthropic (Claude), and Google (Gemini), plus a configured OmniRoute server. Selecting one sends your messages, earlier chat, enabled attachments or profile context, and relevant task results directly to that recipient. Supported screenshots are included when selected. This is an off-device transfer, even though the SkipForm developer does not receive a copy.

External recipients receive authentication and connection information and handle requests under their own API agreements and privacy policies. A configured server can forward requests to online providers. Retention and training depend on the provider and your account settings. An HTTP server connection is unencrypted.

Provider information: OpenAI, Groq, DeepSeek, Anthropic, and Google. API handling can differ from consumer chat services; also review your provider's API agreement. GroqCloud data handling and Gemini API terms explain service-specific practices.

Use an on-device model and avoid external providers if you want Assistant content processed only on your device. Clear earlier chat before switching providers if it contains information you do not want sent to the new recipient. Deselecting an attachment does not remove information already present in conversation history.

Retention and deletion

Local information remains until you remove it, it is replaced under the feature's storage limits, or browser storage is cleared. Model files remain cached until you remove them or the browser evicts them. The developer cannot remotely access, restore, or delete your local information.

Use Fields to delete saved answers and stored files, Form History to delete tracked entries, Clear Log for activity, and Clear chat for Assistant conversation and its saved task. Chat clearing leaves an Undo copy in the open editor's memory until you close or reload it. API keys and downloaded models have separate removal controls. See Help and Data Deletion.

Exports, original files, device or browser backups, and information already received by websites or external providers are separate copies. Local deletion does not erase them. SkipForm does not provide cloud sync; your operating system or browser may back up local storage according to your settings.

Security and your choices

Local information relies on browser and operating-system protections; SkipForm does not add a separate encrypted vault. Protect your device, browser profile, and exports. Built-in external AI endpoints use HTTPS; a custom server uses the protocol you configure.

You can edit or delete saved information, export profile fields and form history, restrict site access, disable page actions, deselect Assistant context, choose local inference, or stop using the extension. Profile exports exclude stored document bytes, API keys, and chat history.

Revoking permissions stops future access under those permissions; it does not erase existing information or undo earlier transfers. Disabling the extension alone does not delete its local storage.

Third-party services and changes

Apple, Google, browser providers, websites you visit, download hosts, and any external services you choose handle their own information under their policies. This policy does not claim that these independent services collect no information.

Policy changes will appear here with an updated effective date. New optional processing requiring permission must be disclosed before it begins.
